Admitted in 1998 to practice law in California, the firm's founder Barton E. DeBolt focuses on strategically navigating and resolving legal issues for his clients, which include small to mid-sized companies, lenders, insurance carriers, policyholders, and professionals in compliance matters, risk management, pre-litigation, litigation, trials and appeals. 

Mr. DeBolt was recognized as a Southern California Rising Star in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 for being among the top 2.5% of the attorneys in Southern California aged 40 years old or younger. 

Mr. DeBolt is a member of the State Bar of California, the Central District of California, United States District Court, and the Los Angeles and Ventura County Bar Associations.  He distinguished himself at Pepperdine University School of Law, where he was a Terry M. Giles Honor Scholar and Moot Court Board Member.  Mr. DeBolt proudly began his legal career working with expert land use attorney, former United States Congressman Paul N. "Pete" McCloskey.
